(from) all walks of life

We use this expression to talk about a group of people who are from various cultures and socio-economic backgrounds. For example, in the seats around you on an airplane, there might be a doctor from Uganda, an economist from Canada, a housewife and her children from Korea, and a writer from Sweden.

“In the airport, we saw people from all walks of life.”

“There are students from all walks of life in the art class.”
